Decks and porches: new decks and repairs

We build new decks and fix the decks and porches you already have. Every new deck comes with a 3D design you can look over before you say yes. For repairs, when the rest of the deck or porch is sound, we fix what's damaged instead of starting over.

  • New decks, with a 3D design of your deck
  • Rotted or broken deck boards
  • Soft or rotted steps
  • Rotted posts
  • Loose deck and porch railings

Small carpentry jobs

Small jobs are welcome. If it's wood and it's broken, loose or missing, text a photo and ask.

Common questions.

What people ask before they text.

Do you take small jobs?

Yes. A single door, a loose railing or a few rotted deck boards are all worth a text.

How do I get a price?

Text a photo of what you need to (309) 213-4862 and tell us what town you're in. We come look in person, then you get a written price before any work starts.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

Photos help us tell you what the job takes, but we give the price after we see it in person. That way the price fits the actual job.

What if you find more damage once the work starts?

We show you what we found and put the added work in writing. Nothing extra gets done until you say yes.

Who does the work?

The owner does the work himself. His background is in custom home building.

What areas do you work in?

The Quad Cities area, including Geneseo, Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, Milan, Colona, Kewanee, Cambridge and Port Byron. If your town isn't listed, ask.

Do you clean up when you're done?

Yes. We clean up when the job is done.

What kind of work do you do?

Carpentry: interior, exterior and storm doors, trim and baseboard, stairs and railings, new decks, deck and porch repair, and small carpentry jobs. If you're not sure, text a photo and ask.

How it works.

Four steps, and you know the price before anything starts.

  1. Send a photo

Text a photo of what you need. Tell us what you want done and what town you're in.

  2. We come look

We set a time to see it in person and take measurements.

  3. Written price first

You get the price in writing before any work starts. Nothing starts until you say yes.

  4. The work, then cleanup

We do the job and clean up when we're done.

Have something else in mind?

Text a photo and describe it. If it's carpentry, ask.
